From Athens: Take Union Street out of town toward the west. You will travel past Hungry Howies, then Seaman's Grocery. Keep going to the next light. This is the intersection between SR 56 and SR 682. Turn right at the light and you will be on 682 heading north. Take this road to The Plains and when you come to the stoplight, you will see the church on the corner. Turn right at the light and take the next turn right into the parking lot. Park behind the church and you will see a gray door. This is the entrance to the Family Life Center. Alternate directions: Take 33N heading toward Nelsonville. Turn left at the Johnson Road entrance into The Plains. You will see the Athens Messenger on the right. Keep going down Johnson Rd until you see the church on the right at the stoplight. Pull into the parking lot behind the church.
From Nelsonville: Take 33S heading toward Athens. Take the first exit to The Plains. Turn right at the stop sign onto Plains Road. Continue down Plains Rd until you see the Plains UMC on the left (the only church on that road). Turn into the parking lot just before you get to the intersection. Park behind the church and you will see a gray door. This is the entrance to the Family Life Center.

Go a little less than a mile down Luhrig Rd until you see the next Good Works sign on the left. The parking attendant will show you where to park. If there is no parking attendant, please park in our large parking lot beside Hannah House and Good Works Administrative Building. If no room is available, please park in our overflow parking near the road.
From Nelsonville: Take 33S heading toward Athens. Take the first exit to The Plains. Turn right at the stop sign onto Plains Road. Continue down Plains Rd until you pass the Railroad warning sign on the right. Take the next right onto Luhrig Road. You can just make out the Good Works sign on the right as you make the turn. Go a little less than a mile down Luhrig Rd until you see the next Good Works sign on the left. The parking attendant will show you where to park.
