Neighborhood: Because of our long term commitment to the immediate neighborhood of the west end, we will not take any "walk-ons" who have not called us first. We do this both to prepare our staff ahead of time for who is coming as well as to screen new residents carefully. Persons who do walk on to the property will be given a quarter and directed to a telephone. Persons coming on the property after 12:00 am will be directed to the Athens Police Department for a referral. In some cases, we will provide a cab fare for transportation.
