Neighboring 101

A study and discussion about the broad issues of loving and serving people in poverty.

For several years, the Good Works Community of HOPE has sponsored a weekly class called Neighboring 101 to bring together people from different churches and Christian Communities for a dialogue about what it means to love our neighbors.  This fall we will sponsor a discussion on the book WHEN HELPING HURTS by Steve Corbett and Brian Fikkert.  Through  a grant from the United Methodist Church, 20 books have been purchased and can be borrowed from Good Works for the duration of the class.

The class will meet on Wednesdays, and will begin promptly at 12:00 noon and end at 1:00 pm at the Good Works Timothy House. (Click here for a map.) Lunch will be provided at no cost each week to every participant who RSVP's.

For more information or to RSVP, e-mail goodworks@good-works.net or contact Keith Wasserman at 740-594-9000.

The class will begin Wednesday September 15th and meet every week until Wednesday November 3.
