Neighboring 101

A study and discussion about the broad issues of loving and serving people in poverty.

For several years, the Good Works Community of HOPE has sponsored a weekly class called Neighboring 101 to bring together people from different churches and Christian Communities
for a dialogue about what it means to love our neighbors. We discussed books such as Bridges Out of Poverty, Sharing God’s Heart for the Poor, and Churches that Make a Difference.

This spring, we again are sponsoring a discussion on the book When Helping Hurts.

Neighboring 101 meets on Thursdays this spring starting on April 14th. We begin promptly at 12:05 and end at 1:00 pm at the Good Works Timothy House. (Click here for a map.) Lunch is provided at no cost each week to every participant who RSVP's.
