JIM TODD came to Good Works in early fall of 1996 as a homeless person. His wife Diane and young sons Travis and JJ were with him. They stayed for about 3 months while Jim and Diane worked on the issues that brought them to the shelter in the first place. After leaving the shelter, Diane and Jim went to school to work toward getting their college education. Jim was then offered a job at Good Works, which he accepted and worked here for a couple of years before moving on to other things in his life. In 2007, he was asked to return and he accepted the job and is now working as the Transformation Station Manager.

Jim and Diane have been married for 17 years and their young sons are now young men in high school. They live in a community to the north of Athens called The Plains and they have two dogs named Grace and Mercy. Diane is working on her bachelor’s degree in nursing and Jim continues to work on various projects.
