SHERILYN WEINKAUF received clerical training in the US Army for four years, graduated from the USA Training Academy as a Business Secretary, and was a church secretary for three years before coming to Good Works. She serves as the Office Manager in the Good Works Administrative Offices.

“I started my relationship with Good Works as a resident at the Timothy House, although it wasn’t named that yet. My two children, then ages nine and four, and I were there for three months. In July 1996, I was asked to join the Good Works staff as the administrative assistant.

“My season here has been long and filled with many opportunities for spiritual as well as personal growth. I have gone from subsidized housing to owning my first home, and from a twenty-one-year marriage to being a single mom. My life is now being changed for the better by another long-time staff member, Ken Weinkauf. We were married on April 12, 2008.

“I have been here almost 12 years, and I still love my job. I believe that the Lord has put a deep love for people in my heart and working at Good Works is one way to put that love in to action."
