STEVEN BARTH is from Northeast Ohio where he grew up on a dairy farm. Steven moved to Athens to attend Ohio University. Steven while at the University learned about Jesus and how to have a relationship with him. Since then Steven has been growing to learn what it means to be a Christian each day. He has been having a great adventure serving in different ministries on the college campus of Ohio University, overseas, and in the Athens Community.
Since 2009 he has been on staff with Athens Community Church. Steven works with the Teens and Children in the Church. He wishes people to see the complete person of Jesus Christ—in that he offers healing for our life today from our hurts, sins, and brokenness, as well as eternal life in the future. In experiencing this in himself through Jesus he wants to share this good news to all who will listen.
As a part of Good Works Steven is a night shift guy at the Timothy House. He loves it because of all the people he gets to hang out and make relationships with. Making a positive impact on the lives of the people in the Timothy House is both fun and rewarding. He enjoys Good Works because of the way they show the hands and feet of Jesus to the hurting and broken hearted. Steven hopes that his work at Good Works will help others experience true joy and happiness that come from knowing Jesus.
